A few hours in to the 0700 UTC race slot, Slothly Does IT made the decision to retire the car and restart the race at the 1800 UTC race slot.
After qualifying on pole for the first race, retirement was caused by a collision with a re-joining GT3 which left Slothly Does It 5 laps down on the leader.
The second race start Slothly Does It qualified on pole once again and opened up a small gap to P2 during the opening hours of the race. With team members sleeping overnight Slothly Does It emerged from the night stint in P3, during sunrise and early morning Slothly Does It moved back up to P2 after team BMG Racing had an accident. The remaining 7 hours of the race saw Slothly Does It maintaining the gap to P1, Dinoco Racing, of two to three minutes.
With no incidents Slothly Does It finished the Le Mans 24 in P2 for the LMP2 class just two minutes and thirty seconds behind P1.
